About the event

ree

The seminar in Russian, “A Drop of Blood That Tells Everything: The Future of Cancer Diagnosis,” is intended primarily for the Ukrainian and Russian community in Slovakia, but is open to anyone who speaks Russian. The event will present current advances in cancer diagnostics, focusing on how modern technologies can detect disease earlier and more precisely. It will take place on November 16 at 6:00 PM at the “Drak and Finch” wine bar in Bratislava.

Speaker:

MSc. Yuliia Ishchenko, student at the Department of Molecular Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University, will discuss how liquid biopsy is transforming medicine. As she explains: "Modern medicine increasingly shows that sometimes just one drop of blood is enough to detect a disease long before symptoms appear. Liquid biopsy is a new era of diagnostics without scalpels and without pain."
