7th Central-Eastern European Symposium on Free Nucleic Acids

Updated: Feb 13

We are delighted to announce that, with the support of the FORGENOM II project and in collaboration with the Institute of Molecular Biomedicine (IMBM), we will host the 7th Central-Eastern European Symposium on Free Nucleic Acids on 10–11 September 2026.

This international symposium will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, and early-career scientists working in the field of circulating nucleic acids, liquid biopsy, and translational genomics. The scientific programme will cover both fundamental research and clinical applications of cell-free DNA and RNA, including cancer diagnostics, hereditary cancer syndromes, non-invasive prenatal testing, fragmentomics, and emerging multi-omics approaches.

The event is designed to create a dynamic platform for scientific exchange, presentation of novel findings, and discussion of methodological advances and translational perspectives. Special attention will be given to early-stage researchers, who will have the opportunity to present their work and engage in networking activities.

More details, including the preliminary programme, registration, and abstract submission deadlines, will be available soon on the event webpage.
