FORGENOM Annual Workshop 2026

The FORGENOM Annual Workshop 2026, held on 10–12 March 2026 in Bratislava, brought together early-career researchers, PhD candidates, Master’s and Bachelor’s students working in genomics, bioinformatics, and related life-science disciplines.

Over three intensive days, participants had the opportunity to present their research topics, discuss methodological approaches, and receive constructive feedback from senior researchers and international collaborators of the FORGENOM project. The workshop was designed to simulate real conference and thesis defense environments, helping participants refine their scientific narrative, improve presentation skills, and strengthen their ability to respond to critical questions.

We would like to thank all participants for their engaging presentations, active discussions, and the collaborative atmosphere that contributed to the success of the workshop. We look forward to continuing these activities and supporting the next generation of researchers through future FORGENOM training and networking events.
