FORGENOM II Project Meeting at EMBL Heidelberg

On 16-17 July 2026, representatives of the FORGENOM II consortium gathered at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany, for a project meeting focused on reviewing progress and planning the final phase of the project.

Participants from Comenius University Bratislava, EMBL, and the University of Milano-Bicocca discussed achievements across all work packages, upcoming training activities, scientific outputs, and future collaboration opportunities.

The meeting provided an opportunity to evaluate ongoing research activities, joint publications, researcher training, technology transfer initiatives, and dissemination efforts. Special attention was given to the successful completion of project deliverables and the preparation of upcoming workshops and community-building events.

As part of the visit, consortium members also had the opportunity to explore EMBL Heidelberg's world-class research infrastructure and exchange expertise with leading scientists in genomics and molecular biology.

The meeting further strengthened collaboration among project partners and reinforced FORGENOM's mission to advance excellence and innovation in genomics research.
