Next-Generation Sequencing and Cell-Free DNA: Clinical Applications in Cancer Screening

Since the first human genome was sequenced, the cost and processing time for sequencing have decreased more than anyone predicted. This advancement made sequencing technologies more affordable and enhanced their research deployment. Here, we present examples of their clinical utilities in non-invasive cancer screening applications.
